The weather is fine but you always see the rain
Your perfect eyes no longer seek for fun and games
Whatever happened to that child free from all chains
The one just striving for a better future with her name

Sometimes you look like life hasn't ruined you in any way
That angelic face that still protects me from all harm's way
Like if I took a better look, I'll still find the old you some day
